Readers
The high quality readers of Sesam are developed to meet the high requirements for burglar alarm technique in Germany. Therefore the readers are VdS certified for burglar alarm applications up to Class C.
To meet the high VdS requirements the readers of the Sesam Classic Line are protected against damage by a robust aluminium case. The surface ist either anodized or powder-coated. The keypad readers contain a complete sealed keypad board with keys made of stainless steel. Because of this material and details of construction the complete keypad is very robust and extremly good qualified for outdoor applications.
The Securyt reader has a keypad made of toughened safety glass and a frame made of alumium. Because of the safety glass this reader is also very robust and qualified for outdoor applications. The glass has a backlight to get viewable digits also in a dark environment. The backlight can be eihter switched on permanent, over an input or dependent from the outside light intensity.
The RFID readers work with frequencies of 125KHz (proximity) and 13,56MHz (Mifare).
The reader components can be delivererd as kits for customized applications. Sesam supports the construction as well as the complete production of customized units.
